Travelling

Can I still travel and have gluten-free options?

Of course! Like I always say, let being gluten-free be a part of your life, but don’t let it dictate your life. Whether you’re traveling domestically or internationally, call your hotel or place of residence to assure you will have choices. If you call well ahead of time, they may be able to provide gluten-free baked goods for breakfast and discuss other meals as well. Also, do some research. If you are travelling internationally, read up on common dishes offered at your destination. Additionally, English is not one of the major languages at your destination, learn how to ask for gluten-free food in the native tongue beforehand.

This website (http://www.celiactravel.com/cards/) helped me, when I was travelling.  They have handy translation cards that explain what Celiac Disease is and the restrictions of the allergy. Bon Voyage!
